Chateau Javarzay at Chef-Boutonne.
At the rear of the chateau you will find a large fishing lake, take a stroll or have a picnic, there is also a childrens play area.
From here go to the French market in Chef-Boutonne on a Saturday morning.
Whilst driving through the country you will see fields of sunflowers as far as the eye can see, a truly wonderful sight.

Abbaye Royale at Celles Sur Belle, take a relaxing stroll round the gardens, a walk throught the woods, have a picnic or visit the abbaye.
From here visit the lovely town of Melle or go to the french market in Lezay on a Tuesday morning.
